To me the EVF is an essential part of my fun in photography. Are there other photographers amongst you thinking like me? Do you own a camera, you are wholeheartedly happy with in that respect?

First I should say, I'm a glass wearer. I selected my current cameras, Canon R5 and Leica Q3 43, in the hope for excellent EVFs. Their EVFs do their job, but I'm not impressed. Particularly of the Leica I expected far more knowing their binoculars.

There is a function in some Canon cameras: R1, R3, R5 MK II, R6 MK II and III, that makes the view similar to an optical viewfinder. It is found in the red menu: optical viewfinder simulation. It seems to work very well, at least in my personal experience.
