Diciamo che sono tutti uguali fino ad un certo punto, se scatto foto notturne ad alto contrasto userò il D-76 che é un compensatore, ma per scatti normali ID-11, X-TOL e D76 che trovi il polverone anche per meno di 5 litri sono sullo stesso piano e non noti differenze di sorta. Io solitamente uso la proporzione 1+1.

Una cosa assolutamente uguale sono i Rapid Fixer, rapidi perché impiegano meno tempo a fare il fissaggio.

Per lo Stop ti consiglio l'acido citrico.

Non è importante tanto lo sviluppo che usi, quanto che sia costante. Ciò significa che sia sempre fresco uguale, in modo che ogni volta che lo utilizzi sei certo che ottieni lo stesso risultato, così da poter fare in caso di necessità sviluppo variato. Da qui il mio consiglio per uno sviluppo usa e getta e per sviluppi concentrati che non si ossidano a breve. Dal canto mio ho trovato questo malcostume che in quarant'anni che sviluppo le aziende hanno cambiato formula: ad esempio l'HC110 una volta era considerato longevo, cioè almeno 10 anni se ben conservato, mentre il Rodinal era eterno. Oggi vedo cambiamenti di colore e ossidazione nel concentrato anche dopo tre anni. Nel mio caso specifico ho optato per farmi gli sviluppi da me, così ho la garanzia della loro longevità, bisogna partire dai prodotti chimici base, è una rottura, lo so, ma è l'unico modo che ho per avere una costanza in certi casi.
