Ciao,

una domanda: se abbasso la risoluzione con la mia X-T5 (scatto prevalentemente in jpeg) ottengo un file con meno rumore agli alti Iso o semplicemente perdo solo in risoluzione?

Sì, lo so che posso scattare in Raw e poi fare un denoising in postproduzione etc., ma avevo questa curiosità. Non ho ancora fatto una prova pratica, ma magari qualcuno di voi ha provato.

No, l'idea è utilizzare l'opzione "M" come qualità del jpeg in camera.

Il problema è che quelle opzioni non fanno downscaling ma semplicemente riducono le informazioni sul file o fornisco meno risoluzione finale senza benefici di qualità.

A memoria poche fotocamere le fanno quanto richiesto, tipo la Sony A7r5 con i raw se ricordo bene (correggetemi nel caso), ma non capisco con l'avvento dei 40Mp perché Fuji non abbia implementato una funzione di downscale in camera per ottenere file più leggeri e "puliti" e partendo dalla piena risoluzione, RAW e jpg. Sarebbe stato davvero utile e versatile.

In effetti non serve ne a Fuji nè per qualsiasi altro brand. Se si scatta in Raw alla massima definizione possibile, postproducendo poi l'immagine in Jpg si puo' fare a qualsiasi valore di dimensione e peso e in tal modo si può effettivamente avere un file con minore rumore.

L'unico svantaggio è la conservazione del raw alla massima e unica dimensione.
