Problema AF RF 100-500 sotto luce sole diretta

Buonasera,
Uso il Canon RF 100-500 per il motorsport. Quando lavoro nelle ore centrali della giornata, indipendentemente dalla camera su cui lo utilizzo, mi escono delle foto che non capisco se sono fuori fuoco o se sono leggermente mosse. Adesso magari ho non ho capito io qualcosa di questa lente, ma sta diventando frustrante, non riesco ad usarlo quando il sole batte direttamente sulle auto.
Se è nuvolo, piove o si va verso le ore serali il problema scompare, stessi tempi di scatto e stesse impostazioni maf. Quindi mi viene da pensare che faccia fatica ad agganciare in alcune situazioni. Sapreste aiutarmi a capire se sbaglio io, e in caso cosa sbaglio?

Non penso sia la lente bensì la turbolenza atmosferica che si manifesta molto usando teleobiettivi (tutti) in una calda giornata assolata

qual' è la parte della foto che non riesci a " capire"?
A me il frontale macchina sembra buono, non perfetto ma buono, (immagine a risoluzione ridotta) vista anche la sensibilità che stai usando, 1600 iso, a meno che non stai usando un diaframma particolarmente chiuso oltre f11/16, che potrebbe causarti problemi di diffrazione (scarsa nitidezza).
La zona dietro la macchina mi sembra normale dato che l' aria è calda e piena di turbolenze.

purtroppo in pista soprattutto dove c'è ghiaia e nelle ore centrali della giornata è così l'umidità e il calore che sale degradano molto l'immagine è una problematica comune non imputabile all'attrezzatura ...più o meno ne soffrono tutti allo stesso modo!!! chiudere il diaframma serve a poco la cosa migliore è alzarsi come pdr o stare più vicini o usare focali più larghe!!!
ps non è male la foto in se...i colori forse in adobergb ? sono strani ma la foto per essere nelle ore centrali non è male alla ascari poi!!!
