Sovrapposizione focali tra mediotele e tele 70/200 vs 100/400

Buongiorno a tutti amici ed amiche, vi scrivo perchè da un paio di settimane ho questo dubbio.
Contestualizzo il tutto così spero si capiscano meglio le mie paranoie. Eeeek!!!

Ho una R5 con:
EF 16/35L USM I F4;
EF 24/70L USM II F2.8;
EF 70/200L USM II F2.8;

Mi è balenata l'idea di aggiungere un tele più spinto a corredo ed ho sentito parlare molto bene del Canon RF 100/400 F5.6/8.
Con il 100/400 scatterei un po' di tutto tranne sport e avifauna in movimento. Che ne dite? Le lenti si sovrapporrebbero per 100mm, credo che sia "accettabile". Vale la pena o meglio ancora il biancone moltiplicato in camera x1.6 (320mm)?

Io uso Nikon, ho il 100-400 z e sto seriamente pensando di affiancargli il 70-180, perché è un 2.8 è compatto. Il 100-400 lo uso per paesaggio, un po' di sport, il 70-180/200 lo userei per quelle volte che la luminosità e la compattezza fanno comodo.

Io - a proposito di "sovrapposizioni - meglio che non rispondo ;-)

perchè non farei testo, avendo (e lavorando con tutti, dipende dalle situazioni...):
- EF 24-105 f/4 Art e EF 24-70 II f/2.8
- EF 70-200 IS II f/2.8 e EF 70-200 f/4 IS II
- EF 100-400 IS II, RF 100-400 e RF 800 f/11
Comunque, per provare a rendere utile il commento, su R6 e R7, ti assicuro che con l'RF 100-400 riesci a scattare senza grossi problemi sia sport che avifauna in movimento, mentre con il biancone moltiplicato (sia con 2x che con 1,4x) - sarò stato sfortunato - ma non sono mai riuscito ad ottenere risultati accettabili. Francamente, per quello che costa, un RF 100-400 fossi in te lo prenderei senza starci troppo a pensare.

Grazie a tutti per le risposte, mi sono fatto anche una scorpacciata di recensioni e video test ;-)

Credo che per il prezzo attuale, non ci sia di meglio sul mercato RF... Credo che procederò all'acquisto a stretto giro.
