Buongiorno a tutti, premetto che parliamo di un obiettivo "più che vintage" per cui non so se la sezione è quella giusta. Ad ogni modo, sono venuto in possesso di alcune fotocamere piuttosto datate, con l'impegno da parte mia di cercare, per quanto possibile, di dare loro una seconda vita. La prima che sto cercando di rianimare è una LAMPERTI E GARBAGNATI di fine '800. E' in ottime condizioni ed ho già creato alcune mascherine per poter utilizzare pellicole piane in luogo delle lastre sensibili. Ha un obiettivo in ottone senza otturatore (non so come caricare qui la foto e quindi la carico nella mia galleria) con inciso quanto segue: E SUSTER BASILEA N. 3159 APLANAT B N. 2 7x5. Gentilmente qualcuno mi sa dire qual è la focale di tale ottica? In rete ho trovato ottiche simili ma non questa.
seguiranno altre mie domande sulle altre fotocamere e quindi vi chiedo di avere pazienza.

Bello l'obiettivo, ma facci anche vedere la macchina ;-)

Per trovare la lunghezza focale è semplice: vedi a che distanza dal centro dell'obiettivo mette a fuoco un oggetto lontano, per es il sole. Quella è la lunghezza focale.
Che dimensioni ha la lastra?
Se hai un po' di pazienza puoi sensibilizzare le lastre in vetro.

Riguardo alla lunghezza focale, come dice Skilab59.

Considerato che le ottiche "normal" i hanno la lunghezza focale pari alla diagonale del supporto sensibile e ipotizzando che la tua segua questa regola potresti considerare la diagonale delle lastre come lunghezza focale del tuo obiettivo
