ho da tempo il sigma 120/300 f2.8 e reputo tale obiettivo ottimo per il mio utilizzo su treppiede per avifauna (pesa come il 150/600) ed ho anche il duplicatore di focale sigma 1401 1.4x e non lo uso quasi mai ma non mi sognerei mai di raddoppiare a 2x in quanto come ti hanno gia' detto perderesti molto, troppo in termini di velocita' e diaframma

Domanda :gli zoom Sigma e tamron 600mm , rendono meglio ?

Sono due tipologie di zoom molto diverse: il 120-300 è luminoso, "fatto" per quel range di focali rimanendo luminoso, mentre i vari 150-600 sono fatti per altro, e sono nettamente meno luminosi.

Opinione personale, preferisco il 150-600 s al 120-300 s con il 2x canon. Un filo più inciso e soprattutto più reattivo e affidabile di af.
