Ho un amico che ha provato il 14-35 e alla fine ha deciso di tenersi il 16-35/4, lo trova migliore una volta applicate le correzioni.

“ chiedo se nel grandangolo, che userei all'aperto e con diaframmi chiusi, vale la pena investire nel rf 15-35 f2,8 oppure se otterrei la stessa nitidezza con il rf 14-35 f4 entrambi serie L . „

Se queste sono le premesse prendi il 17-40 L che a f/8 va bene ed ha una resistenza al flare notevole. Preso usato costa praticamente niente (mi pare sotto 300 euro)
Seconda scelta il 16-35 L IS EF che si rivela "ancora" una lente eccellente.
Se prevedi di non usare il 2.8 allora prendi un f/4 risparmiando peso e soldi. Se prevedi di farci cieli stellati e qualche ritratto ambientato prendi il 2.8

Ho il 16/35 f4is e da un bel po' oltre che con Canon FF lo uso su Sony7rII con soddisfazione,qualità ottica ineccepibile,ingombri con adattatore non indifferenti.
Ho avuto modo di provare l'omologa Sony,si ,ma a parte gli ingombri non c'è storia (per me).
Quello che voglio dire è che nessuno ha torto o ragione ma ognuno ha le proprie esigenze,si chiamino ingombri praticità d'uso, qualità ottica,costi o quant'altro,non ci sarà mai un vincitore univoco ma ognuno a ragione avrà il suo.
