Stabilizzatore rumoroso(?) su Canon 55-250 IS STM

Salve,
ho appena acquistato un Canon 55-250 IS STM (usato, come nuovo) e ho notato che emette un leggero "tic-tic" con lo stabilizzatore attivato, simile a quello emesso dalle lancette di un orologio.
Riprovando l'obiettivo in modo più approfondito, posso dire che il rumore già descritto si avverte soprattutto in modalità live-view e durante la registrazione video (nella quale, tra l'altro, viene "amplificato" dal microfono interno), mentre con il display spento il "ticchettio" si palesa solo quando premo il pulsante di scatto per mettere a fuoco. Facendo qualche ricerca ho trovato un video su YT di un Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 che produce un suono simile al mio (solo un po' più intenso) e nella descrizione si parla di movimento di elementi in vetro e "rattling noise". Non essendo un esperto, vorrei chiedere se tutto ciò rientri nella normalità, anche perché l'obiettivo funziona perfettamente, AF compreso. Grazie
