Il 200-600 ha una qualità ottica superiore al 70-300, ma è molto più pesante ed ingombrante.
Io li ho entrambi , quando l' escursione è più faticosa porto il piccolo e leggero 70-300. ( faccio foto ai monti, ghiacciai ).
Se fa troppo caldo e c' è turbolenza atmosferica è inutile portarsi dietro una focale > 300mm.

Non uso a73 ma a7r3 abbinata al 100-400 gm e al 200-600. il 200-600 è una lente specifica che usi per una cosa specifica cioè avifauna. Il 100-400 per il mio modo di fotografare lo considero un vetro da landscape e infatti è fisso nel mio zaino assieme al 24-105. A livello di qualità d'immagine ritengo il 100-400 leggermente superiore al 200-600 ma sono cose alle quali non presto troppa attenzione. Con il 200-600 e il fatto di poter croppare in camera ottengo focali realmente interessanti che mi evitano di dover pensare ad un moltiplicatore. Non so se questa funzione esista sulla a7 che tu possiedi.

La funzione esiste anche sulla A7III ma genera un file da 10 Mp mentre la R da 18 molto più utilizzabile .

Io usavo quella della Really Right Stuff, per me era perfetta. Costosa, ma visto il mestiere volevo essere tranquillo. Se non erro esiste anche della Leofoto ad un prezzo molto più basso. Marche cinesi che non conosco, per questo mestiere, le evito.

Avevo acquistato quello della iShoot

ma poi l'ho cambiato con quello della Wimberley (AP-620)

che costa parecchio di più ma non c'é paragone.
L'ho cambiato perché il Wimberley non é smontabile (e per me più sicuro) ed é più lungo e permette un fissaggio migliore sulla testa del treppiede e anche offre un'impugnatura migliore quando mi muovo sorreggendo l'insieme corpo/ottica per il piede dell'ottica.

Ad un prezzo intermedio tra i due c'é questo:

Ottimi quella della Ishoot, ce l'ho sul 100-400 e sul 50-140 Fuji.

Pensavo che non ci fosse per il Sony 200-600, ma solo per il 600 GM.

Consiglio Leofoto sf-02. Ho l'sf-01 poer il 100-400 ma ho appena ordinato anche quello per il 200-600.
Su un sito tedesco li ho trovati a meno di 80 eur spediti.
