Sigma 24-70mm Art vs Tamron 17-50

Ciao a tutti, attualmente ho una Canon 600d che uso da molti anni accoppiata ad un Tamron SP 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II VC LD. Con questo zoom mi sono sempre trovato davvero bene e lo porto con me per qualsiasi viaggio coprendo le focali più comuni, dal paesaggio al ritratto.
Stavo pensando di fare un upgrade di questa lente e volevo un parere su cosa scegliere.
L'occhio mi è sceso sul Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art che penso sia davvero una bella bestiola. Secondo voi è un'ottica che darebbe ulteriori soddisfazioni rispetto al Tamron? Oppure consigliate altre? Ho anche un po' di dubbio sul fatto che il Tamron parte da 17 mentre questo Sigma da 24 e potrebbe tagliarmi qualche campo largo, ma ho visto che Sigma ad esempio non ha lo stesso range, e l'altro disponibile è il 18-35mm che mi sembra un po' limitante. Ci sono ottiche Canon a prezzi paragonabili che vale la pena considerare?

Il tamron è per apsc il sigma per FF.
Il sigma pesa un bel po', come tutti i sigma nuovi.
Non so se in casa canon c'è qualcosa di meglio
