@Stefano: confermo che il compact che e' in vendita ora ha la colonna retrattile a due sezioni: Ho avuto il vecchio e Amazon me l'ha cambiato col nuovo.
Il "vecchio" aveva le boccole in alluminio e il grip in gomma, ma dopo un po' scivolavano.
Il "nuovo" ha tutto in plastica, ma al momento della chiusura le boccole fanno un bel "click" che ti avvisa che sono chuse.

Il nuovo, IMHO, e' molto meglio se si ha apptrezzatura "pesante", perche' si rimuove la flessione dovuta alla colonna fissa.
Altezza minima da terra, comunque, sempre quei 20 cm+testa, che sono la lunghezza della colonna.

Rimane la testa da sostituire, la stessa in entrambi i casi: e' meglio delle Andoer da 30€ di Amazon, ma niente in confronto a una Manfrotto o anche una Genesis.

Come testa, per questo, preferisco le Arca alle Manfrotto, cosi' con una staffa a "L" non devo ruotare la testa per fare lo scatto verticale, che metterebbe in seria difficolta' la statica dell'oggetto.

Puoi scendere sotto l'altezza minima di 20 centimetri invertendo la colonna, cosa che, personalmente, non gradisco molto. E' un problema comune a molti treppiedi, cosa che li rende inadatti a chi fotografa piccoli fiori e soggetti che stanno vicino al terreno.

Grazie!! Alla fin fine ho optato per il Benro, quando sarò in montagna ad agosto lo metterò alla prova.
