L'acquisto "una tantum" (quindi non l'abbonamento mensile) permette di ricevere gli aggiornamenti "minori" di versione che normalmente riguardano risoluzione di bug o, appunto, l'aggiunta del supporto di nuove fotocamere.

Dal momento in cui ci sarà un aggiornamento importante di versione (le cosiddette "major release"), per usufruire delle migliore e delle successive aggiunte di nuove fotocamere, sarà necessario procedere all'acquisto di una nuova licenza (che per chi ha già una versione del software sarà a prezzo ridotto rispetto a chi l'acquisterà da zero).

Per chi non ha ricevuto sconti migliori pare che al momento sia attivo uno sconto del 25%, valido anche per la versione "full" e non solo per le versioni brandizzate.

Gli stili li puoi creare tu stesso con le funzioni di capture one. Se ti scocci allora hanno un senso perché ti ritrovi una lunga serie di settaggi pronti per il bianco e nero e il colore. Io ho la versione completa per tutte le macchine fotografiche perché ho più marchi. Per la scelta della licenza io preferisco la perpetua non amo gli affitti e gli oboli mensili.
