La storia della FED è una delle storie più affascinanti di tutto il mondo delle macchine fotografiche che coinvolge un educatore, il capo della terribile polizia segreta Cheka, un pugno di orfani ed altri ragazzi disadattati trasformati in lavoratori...

Dovrebbero aver poco a che fare con la fotografia ed invece, sorprendentemente ... possiamo affermare che
l'epopea della fotografia sovietica iniziò proprio sulla strada per Karkiv.

mi è giunto or ora da Brjansk un "raro" libro stampato nel 1935 (!), riguardante la Fed 1 (NKVD)

"FED e Leica - Manuale di funzionamento per fotografia in miniatura e fotocamere per riprese su pellicola con 88 illustrazioni! " Kinofotoizdat - Mosca 1935

Interessante notare come il libro tratta le due fotocamere ... mi riprometto una traduzione decente per comprendere meglio. La ricerca storica ipotizza un diretto (?) coinvolgimento dei tecnici crucchi nelle prime fasi di produzione della Fed a Karkiv. Ricordo che in quegli anni Germania e Unione Sovietica non erano anocra arrivati alla rottura ... al contrario, presumibilmente erano ancora in vigore i patti (segreti) stesi nel Trattato di Rapallo del 1922.

ne esiste anche uno del 1933 .. proprio agli albori della produzione Fed ... ma faccio fatica a trovarlo.
