“ Sigma 400 f/5.6 HSM Apo Macro „

Ne ho avuti ben TRE esemplari.
Ottima resa, AF scarso per gli standard attuali, anche nella versione più pregiata, la HSM, ma soprattutto, mentre un 500 cata è 10 cm, il Sigma 400 è 29 cm, enorme.

Intendevo... crop (cosa che non faccio - quasi - mai, vedere le mie foto...) in alternativa al moltiplicatore di focale su una lente fissa.

Considerando il prezzo e le dimensioni la resa non è poi così male. Il Tokina me lo posso portare sempre nello zaino e le foto del mio profilo fatte a mano libera non sono da buttare. Poi dipende sempre da cosa uno vuole

Ho tre 400mm convenzionali attacco Canon ( tokina/sigma hsm apo macro/Canon 400 f 5.6 ... e zoom 70/200 e 70/300 ) - questo non mi ha impedito di provare il Samyang 500 f. 6.3 ( proposto sotto varie nomenclature Walimex ecc) e acquistare di recente il Tokina 400 reflex .... Di entrambi ho fatto le relative recensioni - niente da fare, se piacciono le bolle e il forte stacco tra i piani, tutto il resto passa in secondo piano - se serve solo la lunghezza focale, una buona compatta a 600mm eq. ( Anche datata), riesce a fare meglio

Concordo con chi consiglia il Tamron 500 (preferibilmente la seconda versione, quella con la ghiera di messa a fuoco a quadretti). Ho l'MTO 500, accettabile anche quello, ma il Tamron è più piccolo e leggero.
Nel caso del Tamron, occorre munirsi di anello Adaptall (per fortuna ancora rintracciabile nell'usato oppure da Lolli).
Sono giuste anche le osservazioni sulla qualità delle foto così ottenute. Osservo tuttavia che, usati con giudizio e d aiutandosi con la pp, i catadiottrici sono divertenti e, dato il costo minimo, non sono affatto disprezzabili.
