Buongiorno,
ho da poco una D700 e i miei obiettivi sono tutti piuttosto datati: AI-S 28mm f3.5, Nikkor 135mm f2.8, Nikkor-S Auto 50mm f1.4, più un paio più 'recenti', Nikon AF 50mm f1.8 e Nikon AF 35-70.
Ho letto e sentito dire di problemi (ottici) di alcuni di questi con le macchine digitali.
Quali non sono adatti e di quali problemi si tratta?

Problemi ottici anche no, da questo punto vanno benissimo. Problemi di accoppiamento meccanico SI. Anzi, il Nikkor S e pure il 135 2,8 (del quale non citi il modello) se non ha la modifica in AI puo danneggiare seriamente la fotocamera proprio ne punto di accoppiamento.
Dai un'occhiata al libretto di istruzioni (se non ce l'hai scaricalo dal sito Nikon) alla voce "obiettivi senza CPU". Li dice tutto.
Praticamente si lavora in A o in M a fuoco manuale e non si perde nulla con gli Ai e AIS. Con gli AF invece nessun problema.

Ciao, grazie per la risposta.
Il Nikkor S ha già la modifica da tempo, l'ho fatta per poterlo usare a suo tempo su una FE2.
Il 135 è AI-s.
Ho fatto la domanda perché ho sentito dire che alcuni obiettivi vintage non sono adatti al sensore digitale poiché la luce ha un angolo di incidenza non ideale, mentre su pellicola il problema non si pone.

Ottima e classica terna di obiettivi, vedrai che ti daranno soddisfazioni con la D700.

Il discorso vecchi obiettivi/sensori/raggi inclinati ha del vero ma riguarda soprattutto i grandangolari e solo nelle zone periferiche dell'immagine, e comunque la cosa non è così penalizzante.

E poi la D700 ha una risoluzione piuttosto bassa e quindi i difetti degli obiettivi vengono attenuati.
