Ciao a tutti, ennesimo post sull'argomento in quanto sto considerando di passare a C1 come alternativa all'abbonamento a LR (anche per la licenza perpetua di C1).
Ho un MacBook Pro (2017) con 250 gb SSD però vorrei archiviare le foto su un HD esterno, in modo tale da risparmiare spazio sul Mac.

Ecco il dubbio: è possibile creare il catalogo di C1 sul Mac e lasciare i file "originali" su HD esterno?

Quando importi i file puoi scegliere di tenerli nella "posizione attuale", ovvero nel disco che vuoi.

No.
Solamente che alcune operazioni (p.es. stampa, esportazione) sono possibili solo con l'archivio in linea, mentre lo sviluppo del raw si può fare in ogni caso. Comodissimo per lavorare anche in giro con un portatile avendo l'archivio file a casa in un NAS.

Ciao a tutti, vorrei chiedevi come faccio su C1 ad elaborare foto collegate da HDD esterno.
Dopo aver creato il collegamento e staccato HDD non posso fare nessuna modifica.

Devi avere il HDD connesso al pc per modificare le foto
