sto per comprare sigma 170-500 a 175€ ma mi è stato offerto anche un Tamron 70-300 stabilizzato (premetto dispongo già di canon 55-250 stabilizzato)

L'ho avuto per diversi anni e portato in safari in Africa diverse volte con buoni risultati,anche se inferiori ai nuovi Sigma e Tamron 150-600. Se in buone condizioni ed a quel prezzo,è buono per iniziare a fotografare avifauna(il Tamron è un pò corto,ma và bene per utilizzi diversi). La produzione Sigma di quei tempi era piuttosto incostante per qualità,quindi da provare! Ciao,Salvo.

Attenzione: verifica che sia possibile chiudere il diaframma con la tua macchina.
E' un vecchio obiettivo e diversi vecchi Sigma sulle Canon digitali possono scattare solocon il diaframma completamente aperto, se si chiude da errore e non scatta (incompatibilità tra obiettivo e fotocamera)

ALLA FINE MI SONO TROVATO TRA LE MANI UN TAMRON sp 70-300 MM F/4-5,6 VC USD a 200€.

Che tra 500 e 300 c'è un "certa" differenza ... ti serve un 500 oppure un 300?
Ti serve un obiettivo piccolo e leggero, stabilizzato, da portare sempre con te oppure un cannone grande e pesante?

Decisamente come resa si ragiona.
Ora dovresti completare l'acquisto mettendo nel carrello della spesa:
-testa Tilt&Shift attacco arca swiss
-piastra da 120-140mm arca swiss
-lens cover
-monopiede per caccia vagante ... treppiede per appostamento fisso
