Scorrendo allcune schede tecniche di Juzaphoto relative a teleobiettivi Sigma, dedicati a Canon, (18-300mm e altri) noto che la lunghezza focale nominale viene attribuita al loro uso nel formato APS-C, mentre nel formato FF (sensore 24x36) avrebbero lunghezza focale aumentata di 1,6x.
Che io sappia è l'esatto contrario, cioè: La lunghezza focale nominale si riferisce al FF. Se usati in APS-C, il sensore più ridotto coglie solo una parte dell'immagine aumentando il fattore 'tele' di 1,6x. Sbaglio?!?

La lunghezza focale di un obiettivo non dipende dal formato del sensore, poiché è un parametro ottico derivante dallo schema di lenti adottato.
Dopodiché ci si è inventati il concetto di focale equivalente per segnalare il fatto che quell'obiettivo, montato su sensori di dimensioni diverse, avrebbe restituito angoli di campo diversi.
Quindi un 50mm specifico per apsc, è comunque un 50mm e mi sembra logico scrivere 50mm nel campo "lunghezza focale". Poi chi lo usa sa che non può aspettarsi lo stesso angolo di campo che un 50mm gli restituirebbe su FF.
