Quali adattatori servono per Canon (5D e/o 500d) e lenti vintage?

Salve a tutti!

Mi stanno incuriosendo tantissimo le varie discussioni sulle lenti vintage e mi piacerebbe, senza spenderci un capitale (ma a quanto ho capito se ne trovano di molto economiche), trovare una lente per fare qualche esperimento.

Premetto che non ho ancora scelto il tipo di lente (anche se mi piacerebbe un qualcosa sui 35mm / 40mm da usare sulla 5D), vorrei capire cosa devo guardare per sapere se tale lente sara' compatibile con la 5D.

Mi pare di aver capito che esistono attacchi di tipo "M42" e che esistono adattatori M42 --> Canon EF.

Esistono altre combinazioni possibili?

Avevo poi trovato quel link che mi hai appena passato, razzolando fra vecchissimi thread sempre su questo forum.

La lista fa sicuramente comodo, anche perche' il mio timore e' appunto che con la 5D mi vada a sbattere lo specchietto sulla lente che sporge.

Per alcuni modelli, che sono presenti con un nome solo, come ad esempio "Pentacon 2.8 / 29 mm" si fa abbastanza velocemente a decidere, mentre per un altro tipo di lente, la Helios 44-2, nella stessa lista, ce ne sono tante simili di cui alcune sono compatibili, mentre altre no:

E qui non so proprio dove/come sbattere la testa, anche perche' nelle varie inserzioni su ebay non viene specificato.. ho provato anche a chiedere ai venditori direttamente, ma nessuno mi e' ancora stato di aiuto.

Forse l'unica cosa e' provare a prenderne una, e se vedo che la lente sfora oltre l'adattatore, come in questo caso:

la uso solo sulla 500D... ma ho il timore che si perda molto del magico bokeh su una APS-C.
