Problemi a scattare con ef-s Canon 17-55 mm 2.8

Ciao a tutti, ultimamente ho notato un po' di fatica con lo zoom del 17-55 Canon, specialmente nella fascia centrale di focali fa molta fatica. Ma non ha mai avuto problemi a scattare.
In viaggio invece ha iniziato a non scattare più da 21 mm in poi, o meglio, mi segnalava "Errore 01" che indica di pulire i contatti. Lo specchio rimaneva parzialmente alzato. Portando lo zoom a 17 mm si rialzava e, dopo alcuni tentativi, riuscivo a scattare anche a 25, 30 etc fino a 55 mm.
So che c'è qualcosa che non va col cavo flat, me lo sento. Perciò, prima di portarlo in Canon Camera Service, a qualcuno è successo? Se sì che fascia di costo devo aspettarmi? Conviene?

Considerato il valore dell'obiettivo portalo serenamente in camera service.
Ora non so quanto si prendano per l'intervento ma se non sei in grado di fartelo da solo è l'unica strada, ad ogni modo dovrebbe essere un intervento di routine, non credo se lo facciano strapagare.
Purtroppo i cavi flat, prima o dopo, si rompono sempre.

Per l'EFS 17-85, che puntualmente si rompeva ogni 7 anni, ho pagato diversi anni addietro 130 +s.s., la seconda volta che mi è successo ho fatto da me spendendo solo qualche euro per il semplice cavo flat da saldare, ma se non hai manualità faresti bene a spedirlo in Camera Service.

Esattamente, risolto! 130 € di riparazione con lubrificazione del movimento elicoidale. Se solo potessi mettere mano sugli obiettivi tanto quanto le metto sulle biciclette......

in realtà sostituire il flat non è molto difficile, io l'ho cambiato tre o quattro volte sul 18-55.

Ma su un 17-55 non sarei fatto molti problemi a spenderci qualche soldo.

Esatto, ho visto dei video e bisogna avere un bell'occhio e una buona mano a saldare tutti i contatti. Non ne vale la pena se costa 130 euro farlo fare a qualcuno con le competenze giuste e certificate!
