dico max 3 sulla mia d7200(poi di solito cerco di stare sotto) le altre non so come si comportano, su FF qualcosa in più si può osare, sempre in base al sensore che consideriamo

Si si chiaro, anche i miei erano numeri di massima per stare tranquilli poi magari ne recupera 4 con buoni risultati ma già 2 significa scattare a 800 ISO invece che a 3200 e non è male per un Apsc.

sulla 200d con soggetti statici blocco l'esposizione sulle alte luci, ricompongono e scatto con una compensazione di +1 2/3 e sono sicuro di non bruciare nulla (e riduco drasticamente la pp)... Confuso

sensori diversi o non ho capito cosa intendi?

metti che scatti la foto ti accorgi che hai sovraesposto, puoi recuperare fino a 1stop e qualcosina(sulla mia d7200), oltre è informazione persa.
i sensori canon sono diversi dai sony, sui sony conviene non bruciare le luci , quindi sottoesporre e poi recuperare.

What if I'd have increased the ISO setting and let the dog fur blow out? Since the Z7 is close to ISOless above ISO 400, that wouldn't have provided any less shadow noise than what I did.

Questo il passaggio riguardante la parte iso-less. Per i non anglofoni: dice che dato che la nikon z7 è vicino all'isoless sopra gli iso 400, se avesse incrementato gli iso in fase di scatto avrebbe ottenuto lo stesso rumore di come ha fatto (cioé scattando a 400 e aumentando l'esposizione in post).
