angoli di campo diversi tra due zoom nikon

Buonasera,
dovevo confrontare due zoom nikon e precisamente 70-200 4 G ED e 24-120 4 G ED.
Ho messo una mira (tabella di prova) fissa e con la macchina sul cavalletto ho inquadrato, prima con uno poi con l'altro obiettivo, chiaramente senza modificare la distanza piano focale - soggetto.
Con mia sorpresa ho notato una discreta differenza tra l'inquadratura dei due zoom: a tutta escursione (120 sul 70-120) la porzione dell'immagine risultava corrispondente a quella relativa a circa 87-90mm (letta sulla ghiera del 70-200)!
Volevo chiedere se qualcuno ha fatto la stessa prova.

Capisco che le indicazioni sulle ghiere potrebbero essere non precise(?) ma mi sembra un errore troppo evidente.

Si tratta di due obiettivi nuovi originali NIKON.
Cosa ne pensate?

Potrebbe dipendere dal focus breathing.

A che distanza di ripresa operavi? Forse il test andrebbe effettuato all'infinito, al quale le lunghezze focali serigrafate sulle ottiche dovrebbero avere corrispondenza.

la ripresa è fatta in casa perciò a distanza minima!
