Compatibilità d700 e Sigma 150-600

Ciao a tutti, sto valutando l'idea di acquistare un sigma 150-600 sport (ho spesso l'occasione di fare foto su campi da rugby).

Qualcuno ha informazioni sulla compatibilità con la D700? Penso in particolare all'autofocus.

Per quello che ne so io a 600 mm f 6.3 sarebbe troppo buio per l'autofocus della d700.

Domani provo a montare il 150-600 (ho il Tamron) sulla d700 e poi ti dico.

Ho il Sigma 100/400 che a 400 è f6.3 anche lui e lo uso su D300 e D700. In teoria l'autofocus delle due macchine potrebbe dare problemi con obbiettivi più bui di f5.6 ma all'atto pratico non riscontro anomalie rispetto ad obbiettivi più luminosi.

Confermo. Ho appena fatto una prova, con d700 e tamron 150-600 a 600 mm l'autofocus funziona bene, sia col centrale che coi laterali senza tentennamenti

Quanto a velocità di messa a fuoco? Altri utenti qui sul forum dicono che con la D700 sia abbastanza lenta, confrontata con altri corpi macchina. Che per come vorrei usarlo io, sarebbe un problema.

In buona luce è reattivo (il tamron) come sulla 750 (dove lo uso di solito)

Mah se devi farci foto statiche è un conto, inseguire è un altro. Su un campo da rugby secondo me cannerai la maggior parte degli scatti.
Fossi in te opterei per un 300 2.8 af-s I, ti costa più o meno uguale ed i risultati sono migliori. Anche perché 600mm sul campo da rugby potrebbero essere anche inutili.

600 mm inutili?!? In base a cosa lo dici? Il 200 che ho ora sembra un grandangolo!

Cmq si stavo pensando a qualcosa tipo un 300 da moltiplicare.

Peccato che il Nikon 200-500 non sia tropicalizzato. Altrimenti sarebbe stato perfetto.
