Oggi ho preso un bel vecchietto, non credo che riuscirò a montarlo sulla macchina purtroppo, ma non ho resistito.
Qualcuno sa dirmi il valore e di cosa si tratta.
È un obiettivo da degotritopo le uniche scritte sono "V VI 5in F4" e poi dei numeri di serie impressi su altre parti.
Credo che siano 4 lenti in 2 gruppi, a breve la foto |

Secondo me 5in sta per 5 pollici = 75 mm, F4 per f/4. Non ho idea però di cosa sia, né del valore. |

Ho fatto Delle ricerche è un obiettivo inglese della ross xpress usato durante la seconda guerra mondiale per scopi militari. Equipaggiava gli aerei per attività di fotoricognizione. Sembra sia uno schema tessar,

BTW, I did some research and this lens was used on the F24 aerial reconaissance camera, as fitted to Spitfires in WWII, this was the original lens, they later replaced t with a longer 8 inch lens. The aerial recon Spitfire flew at 33,000ft and was the best photo intelligence weapon of the war by far, the Americans used it as well. Most of Europe was photographed in 3D by these aircraft, maybe this lens I have actually flew over occupied Europe and photographed something that was then bombed?
A cool piece of history to own, nonetheless and makes an ironic polar opposite to all the German made glass from Dresden, Jena etc. as this is a British lens and was used to photograph those German cities prior to being bombed - A British lens that helped destroy the German optical factoires quite literally...

Già pulito, il problema è come provarlo.
La messa a fuoco la devo fare con un soffietto, devo trovare qualcosa per fissarlo e poi scoppiarlo alla macchina |

Prova con un "anello tubo di estensione" tipo questi . Avrai così un elicoide per la messa a fuoco. Credo che il soffietto risulti troppo lungo e potrai così fare solo macro.
Devi essere sicuro che il tuo obiettivo possa in qualche modo essere fissato. In pratica deve avere un diametro leggermente inferiore all'apertura dell'anello adattatore, così che lo puoi infilare dentro. Poi la piastra andrà ad appoggiare su bordo.
Farlo costruire su misura è sicuramente molto costoso, più dell'acquisto stesso. Non so se ne vale la pena.
Dalla mia esperienza (ma questo vale per me...) questo genere di obiettivi poi per finire li usi poco.
