Comunque, intanto grazie a tutti per la pazienza e le risposte. Girovagando un pò sul tubo ho anche trovato queste interessanti comparative tra i vari obiettivi menzionati nel post, anche se a volte non troppo tecniche:

In sintesi ne deriva che:

1) il Samyang è compatto ed il più economico, performances accettabili

2) il Laowa 9mm f2.8 (che non avevo considerato), è il più compatto e ampio, ma il meno performante come IQ e comunque abbastanza costoso

3) il 16mm f1.4........ ce l'ho

4) il 16-55 ....... non mi interessa, ho già il XC 16-50 (anche se sono 2 mondi a parte, io sono contento così)

5) il 10-24: il migliore anche se ingombrante e pesante, e comunque stavo vedendo, difficilmente si trova usato a meno di 700 euro

In ogni caso effettivamente sto trovando conferme un pò da tutti che la migliore scelta teorica sia il 10-24. Anche il mio fotografo preferito in questo video ( ) esalta le qualità del Canon 16-35 come focale, ossia praticamente il 10-24. Quindi probabilmente sarebbe meglio risparmiare per questa lente...ma mi sa che in attesa di vincere qualche gratta e vinci non prendo niente e mi tengo il 16mm, al limite in caso di necessità opterò per una panoramica di 2 o più foto da unire in photoshop.....
