Dopo il 70-200 f4 ed il 200 f2.8 è ora di pensare al grandangolare. Lo userò principalmente per alba e tramonto al mare, e qualche paesaggio durante i viaggi, sulla 7d. Preciso che questa volta ho deciso di prendere solo ottiche di qualità perchè ho notato la notevole differenza. Le ottiche alle quali sto pensando sono il 17-40 ed il 16-35. Però la differenza di prezzo è notevole. Ne vale la pena??? C'è qualche alternativa che possa servirmi anche come "tuttofare"?

Come ha detto Cesare nessuna delle due è proprio un grandangolo su 7d.

Considera il Tokina 11-16 o l'11-20 che ti daranno un campo visivo decisamente più corposo.

Non sono grandangoli spinti, ma se hai solo il 70-200 vanno più che bene.

non sono veri e propri grandangoli per aps-c, per definirli tali dovresti scendere almeno sotto i 17-18, perchè fino a lì sono ancora focali normali.

Se hai solo le due lenti che hai citato ti potrebbe convenire il 17-55 2.8 oppure il 15-85 che pur essendo a diaframma variabile ha una qualità eccellente ed una versatilità unica.

Intanto grazie a tutti per i gentili consigli. Non avendo mai avuto un vero grandangolare l'idea dell'11-16 mi spaventa un pò in quanto magari mi troverei ad utilizzarlo poche volte. A meno di scoprire nuovi orizzonti fotografici.
Un 17-85 mi permetterebbe di usarlo anche in per altri scatti. Potrei sempre prendere un vero grandangolare e provarlo, se non sarò soddisfatto potrei rivenderlo. Sinceramente sono un pò confuso...
