Quindi no moltiplicare il 70/200? ho bisogno di più mm..?

il 24/120 non mi piace proprio come ottica.. preferisco portarmi il 35 1.4

Io sono uno che non scatta mai oltre il 2.8, le ottiche buie mi spaventano un pò.

minimal ....
non è per dire... ma qualsiasi soluzione che it viene prospettata il tuo è solo un no ....

fotografare è soprattutto una questione di sensibilità... : hai detto che fai matrimoni ... e hai un 70/200 f 2,8 ....

fai una prova ... : un impala una gazzella sara varia dai 70 ai 90 cm di altezza ... : trova un vitellino e prova a fotografarlo a varie distanze e vedi come è ...

un elfante è sui 3 metri ... : idem ...

e fai delle prove con cio che hai a distanze variabili tra i 20 50 metri ... : il safari che fai .. è in auto in jeep scoperta guidi tu ? ... ti portano ... dipende da cosa fai da come fai ...

se vuoi un ottica luminosa f2,8 ... comprati il 300 mm f2,8 IS ... e avento il 70-200 sei coperto sufficentemente ....
il 300 all'occorrenza lo puoi duplicare ... e ti puo diventare un 450 o un 600 ... un ottica di tutto rispetto! ... e hai la luce che vuoi!

e considera anche che se non vuoi spendere soldi ... hai sempre il sensore che puoi cropparlo ... per cui ...

Ho letto in un tuo post precedente che si tratta dello Tsavo East, lo stesso dove sono stato io. Confermo quindi la necessità di almeno 400mm. Visto che il 70-200 ce l'hai, e mi sembra di capire anche un moltiplicatore x1.4,perché non pensi a un corpo dx tipo D7100? Arriveresti a circa 400mm equivalenti, mantenendo una discreta luminosità

Credo che in un safari (a meno di non dover scattare con il buio ) un ottica ultra luminosa non serva. E scattare a 2.8 anche con un 200 mm non credo sia una cosa sensata (ma magari mi sbaglio )
Prova a vedere le foto di fabio vegetti qui sul forum che ha fatto in Africa e ti fai un idea di cosa ha scattato e con quali ottiche. Ciao
