Ciao a tutti!

progettato nel 1902 da Paul Rudolph il Tessar, soprannominato “occhio d'aquila”, è composto da 4 lenti (da qui il nome) ed è stato per decenni il modello per numerossisimi obiettivi anche di altri costruttori.
La sua costruzione semplice, economica e performante ne ha determinato l'enorme successo.
Di obiettivi centenari ne avevo già un paio d'altri, ma la loro risoluzione non era ottimale. D'altronde erano previsti per formati molto più grandi.
Questo Tessar l'ho visto su ebay ed appariva alquanto disastrato, però... non ho resistito. Dopo una bella pulita, anche interna, con mia grande sorpresa ha rivelato un'anima all'altezza del suo soprannome.

In origine era montato su fotocamere di questo genere

Montato sulla A7r con un soffietto, adattatore e nastro adesivo, ho iniziato a scattare in casa la sera, e poi i giorni seguenti anche all'esterno, in prevalentza con cavalletto. La messa a fuoco è parecchio impegnativa, ma quando ci si azzecca, il risultato ripaga lo sforzo.

Come ha già detto qualcuno, non è un obiettivo da street ;-)

Nel ritratto dà il suo meglio, veramente strepitoso, ma purtroppo non posso pubblicare...

Beh direi che il suo secolo lo dimostra tutto ... anche se devo aggiungere che nelle distanze di lavoro più da presso sembra andare decisamente meglio che all'infinito.

Dimenticavo la resa cromatica: piacevole ... seppure alquanto freddina.
