Come ridurre il numero di pixels del file ARW in pp (senza trasformarlo in tiff)?

Ho una A7RII che, come sapete, genera un (bellissimo) raw di 42Mb che non può essere ridotto in macchina, a meno di non passare alla funzione crop (che con i raw non mi sembra abbia molto senso). Tuttavia si dice che riducendo il numero di pixel dovrebbe migliorare il rapporto s/n in particolare per gli alti ISO. Leggo, recentemente spesso, che dovrebbe essere possibile la dimensione del file RAW (ARW nel nostro caso) in postproduzione. Ho provato a guardare in C1, LR e PS, ma non ho trovato nulla, a meno di non trasformarlo in TIF (o ancora peggio in JPG). Ringrazio fin d'ora chi ha esperienza a questo riguardo e chiedo scusa se non ho trovato la soluzione, magari semplice, da solo

Nessuno li riduce come intendi tu. I vari m-raw o s-raw sono comunque raw a piena risoluzione che vengono sviluppati ridotti e salvati in un formato che è una via di mezzo tra raw e file finito (infatti pesano molto di più di un raw "vero")... un TIFF lineare.
Visto che comunque si atterra su un formato molto vicino al TIFF difficilmente qualcuno si metterà a sviluppare un software per fare quello che chiedi.
Fossi in te non mi farei spaventare dal TIFF... e, comunque, non rinuncerei al raw pieno...

Grazie. Non mi spaventa il tif, ero solo curioso di sapere se era possibile lavorare direttamente sul raw come mi sembrava di aver letto/capito. Di fatto sospettavo che non fosse possibile come lei gentilmente conferma.
