nikon af-s nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6e ed vr per safari

Ciao a tutti
vorrei cambiare il mio Sigma 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM con un Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR (usato) in vista di un fotosafari in Tanzania
Il tutto da abbinare alla mia D610
Il mio dubbio è se la lunghezza focale minima (200mm) sia un pò troppo spinta e mi costringa a cambiare spesso ottica (Nikon 50mm e Nikon 24-120)
Per il safari mi sposterà in una jeep4x4

Ho appena fatto un safari

Vista esperienza mia e di un mio amico ti dico che con una fotocamera è un casino
Sia per via delle polvere sia perchè non hai tempo di cambiare lenti.
Poi dipende anche da dove vai ma su d610 spesso sarai corto anche coi 500 mm
E in altre situazioni sarai lungo anche con 120 mm su d610

Ti consiglierei di prendere una dx da usare con il 200-500 e il sigma sulla d610.
Una d7100 va bene non serve tanta raffica e la porti a casa sui 400 euro.
Sarebbe meglio se avessi un 70-200 F2.8 o anche F4 da usare sulla d610. Al limite anche un 70-300 te la cavi.

Capisco che l'investimento diventa importante ma come ha scoperto il mio collega di viaggio con 1 fotocamera sola in safari è un casino. L'attrezzatura fa molta differenza. Difficile fare le nozze coi fichi secchi.
Il che non toglie che con qualunque attrezzatura alcune foto buone le tiri fuori comunque.
La differenza è che con l'attrezzatura giusta ne tiri fuori più di alcune.

Di solito si dice che l'attrezzatura che ti porti dietro deve costare circa quanto il viaggio altrimenti forse non fai un buon investimento in termini fotografici.
