Io ho scelto il sigma su 750 e ne sono stato soddisfatto. Da due giorni ho un 24/120 Nikon, ho fatto subito un test su cavalletto con una d700 di un amico. A tutte le focali il Nikon è risultato più nitido, di poco, ma più nitido a f4 e a f8. Non ci potevo credere. Se riesco domani faccio la controprova con d750. Eppure tutti danno migliore il sigma e ho pure speso un botto in più. Il sigma è più bello, più veloce, costruito meglio, poi pesante, ma il premio va a Nikon. Se qualcuno ha fatto un test simile senza dire la sua perché lo ha letto da qualche parte sarei curioso di sapere se ha rilevato la stessa cosa.

Per quel che ho sentito dire in giro esiste una grande disparità di vedute sul 24-120mm di Nikon e siccome penso che gli utenti privati non abbiano motivo di esprimere consensi e dissensi a caso, sono indotto a credere che la produzione di quest'ottica, che va avanti ormai da diversi anni, non sia stata esemplare, nel tempo, quanto a costanza ed omogeneità di resa. Io questa volta sono stato abbastanza fortunato e il mio esemplare se la cava egregiamente (io uso FF). Su APS-C si sfrutta solo la zona centrale del cerchio d'immagine, la migliore e suppongo quindi che sia un'ottima scelta, se affiancato da uno zoom grandangolare.
