Il prezzo sembra alto ma vedo che è diminuito e non di poco. Un tempo costava almeno 100 euro di più.

Il Biotar 58mm f/2 è l'originale della Zeiss, progettato da Willy Merté, l'Helios 44-2 è il tarocco russo.
Rendiamo giustizia a chi ha realizzato il progetto di questo gioiello, e non ai russi che se lo sono bellamente fregato.

Sono entrambi 58mm f/2, il Biotar e l'Helios-44.

;-) Comunque le caratteristiche principali sono praticamente identiche. Le leggere differenze fra i vari modelli sono date dai diversi trattamenti antiriflesso e dal numero di lamelle.
Il Biotar in genere è leggermente più costoso, ma è uno Zeiss, e la qualità ha il suo prezzo.

Il Biotar originale lo ebbi (1977) assieme al Takumar 50 f 1,4 e all'Helios primo tipo, nel mio corredo Zenit da "paghetta studenti".

La differenza sta nel colore, decisamente più selettivo e freddo nel Biotar.

La difficoltà sta nel trovarne uno con l'antiriflessi in buone condizioni. Violetto/blu scuro intenso. Se è slavato significa che si è deteriorato e con la luce attraverso appare come sabbioso e l'impronta cromatica originale è sicuramente indebolita.

Il prezzo è dato dall'apertura f/1.4. Ho fatto un giro su ebay e ho notato che sotto i 100 Euro praticamente non ce ne sono... Se però ti accontenti di un f/1.8, allora il prezzo cade a picco.
Oppure con pazienza ti guardi attorno finché la buona occasione ti cade in testa. Io ho trovato 2 esemplari di 50mm f/1.4, ognuno a 20 Euro. Cerca... cerca... ;-)
