O muori giovane (come Hendrix), o diventi vecchio (come McCurry). Potendo scegliere mi sembra preferibile la seconda opzione anche se, con la vecchiaia, spesso ci sono dei cali di ispirazione, che non riguardano solo McCurry, ma accomunano moltissimi artisti. I lavori migliori di McCurry sono quelli giovanili, ma anche quelli successivi non sono da buttare. Del resto se gli altri hanno diritto a copiarlo non c'è una ragione per cui lui non possa copiare sè stesso. Con questo non voglio mettermi a fare l'avvocato di McCurry ne di nessun altro.

Ho nominato McCurry solo per rispondere a una domanda diretta anche se questa era ironica.
Non volevo certo scatenare una discussione pro/contro il boun vecchio steve, era solo una mia costatazione legata a sua grande fama, ma non sottovaluto di certo i suo tanti meriti, se mi sono avvicinato alla fotografia lo devo anche alle sue foto
