XE - 2 e lucchetto giallo

Ho acquistato usata da pochi giorni una XE-2 da abbinare al 27 Pancake che già acquistai per la XT-1 per avere una versione della stessa " pocket" da portarsi facilmente in giro per foto Architettura / street.
Ora, mentre " smanettavo" per fare le varie impostazioni, è apparso sul lato dx del monitor / mirino una piccola immagine gialla di un lucchetto.
A questo punto la macchina scattava normalmente , ma ogni comando era bloccato ed appariva nel centro schermo monitor e mirino il lucchetto.
Ora nel manuale non si fa alcun cenno a questo, ne sulla XT-1 era mai apparso.
Per eliminare il "giallo lucchetto" ho dovuto resettare tutti i parametri della macchina.
Qualcuno mi sa dire cosa è , come lo si crea e come lo si ...elimina ?

Blocco di controllo
Per evitare attivazioni involontarie del selettore e dei pulsanti AE-L e AF-L durante lo scatto, premere MENU/OK fino alla visualizzazione di (icona lucchetto). I comandi possono essere sbloccati premendo MENU/OK finché l'icona del lucchetto non è più visualizzata.

Gulp..e cosparsione capo di cenere. Ho letto e riletto il manuale , ma il riquadro mi era sfuggito e pensare che sotto avevo annotato che la funzione Macro con il firmware 4.0 era stata eliminata e si poteva assegnare il pulsante ad altre funzioni.
Colpa dell'età...o forse saltata istruzione perchè ritenuta parte del comando MICRO non più esistente
In più non ho mai tenuto premuto MENU/OK , ma solo premuto per qualche istante solo per far apparire i menù.
