70-200 2.8 IS II e duplicatore oppure 100-400 IS II

Buon giorno,

Da alcuni giorni mi sto scervellando sul da farsi con i miei obiettivi. A dire il vero il vero dubbio riguarda più il 24/70, ma di questo ne discuterò in un'altro topic.

Innanzitutto vorrei precisare che come corpo macchina ho una canon 7D quindi già con con un "aumento" del tele. Come ottica sono già in possesso di un 70-200 L liscio al quale volevo abbinare un duplicatore 2x, per quando vado a fare caccia fotografica, in quanto il 200 spesso non mi basta. Di fatto leggendo i vari post mi sono reso conto che probabilmente mi troverei con non poche difficoltà nel avere dei risultati soddisfacenti. A tal proposito che mi consigliate di andare direttamente sulla ottica 100-400 o di prendere la stessa lunghezza (70-200) ma con una focale più aperta e cioè il 2.8? Eventualmente il 100-400 prima serie è veramente tanto inferiore alle due precedentemente menzionate?

Sicuramente non andrei a vendere il 70-200 liscio, per molteplici motivi: quello principale è il peso e dato che viaggio spesso è una delle ottiche che mi porto sempre dietro.

Argomento molto discusso, troverai innumerevoli topic.
Anche io avevo il dubbio tra le due scelte ma poi facendo più ritratti ho optato il 70-200 f2,8 is II a cui ho abbinato un 2XIII.
Ho avuto modo di provare il nuovo 100-400 e se dovessi farne uso intenso lo preferirei di gran lunga al 70-200.
I moltiplicatori credo diano un aiuto sui tele fissi di grande qualità ma non essendo un esperto lascio la parola a chi li usa sul serio.
