nikon 18-55: af-p vr vs af-s vr ii

Buongiorno a tutti.
Sto valutando l'acquisto della mia prima reflex e nel kit c'è la possibilità di avere il 18-55 AF-P VR oppure AF-S VR II. Cosa mi consigliate?
Il primo mi sembra più nuovo, costa di meno, è più silenzioso e ha l'autofocus incorporato.
Differenze di qualità-luminosità o altro di rilevante?

Sono praticamente identici, anche il secondo ha l'autofocus...

Malgrado tanti ne parlino male, poichè è una lente che in tanti abbiamo avuto per prima e quindi la accostiamo alla scarsa qualità, mi sento di dire che è una buona compagna di viaggio all'inizio del cammino. Poi, magari, nascono nuove esigenze e si sceglie che tipo di fotografia praticare e, in alcuni casi, diventa non sufficiente.

Non voglio lodare il 18-55 in maniera smodata come il buon Ken Rockwell ma resta, soprattutto nelle ultime versioni, una lente utile a tante situazioni.

Sono nuovo del forum. Mi chiamo Donatello e come regalo di laurea mi voglio "regalare" una reflex. La prescelta è la Nikon D3300 e, come l'autore del post, sono davanti allo stesso dilemma: AF-S 18-55 VRII o AF-P 18-55 VR? La differenza di prezzo è irrisoria (10€ in meno per l'AF-S), più che altro mi chiedo quale sia più comodo/utile: l'AF-S ha i due switch per AF e VR mentre l'AF-P no, per contro il secondo ha un autofocus più silenzioso e veloce del primo.
Secondo voi quale conviene comprare? Tenendo anche conto che se Nikon si sta spostando verso l'AF-P, magari esso sarà più a lungo compatibile con altri prodotti del marchio.
