Qualcuno di voi usa o ha provato il Canon 17-40 su Sony A7? come si comporta? Grazie.

Si comporterà come sulle canon. Bordi sfaldati da 24mm in giù sotto f11...

Non ho mai avuto il 17-40 pur avendo avuto Canon; cosa intendi per bordi sfaldati? Scarsa nitidezza?

No, il 17-40 non peccava di scarsa nitidezza. Almeno qs e' il ricordo che ne avevo io, anzi sto facendoci un pensierino per la mia A7II.

Certo, sicuramente l'unico "difetto" potrebbe essere la sua dimensione con adattatore su A7. Ci sto per fare un pensierino ach'io, spero di non pentirmi.

Pur con l'adattatore, costa sempre meno del 16-35 f4 Sony... ;-)

I bordi saranno scadenti. Peggio di come lo sono già normalmente su corpi macchina Canon. SU Canon diaframmando riduci questa carenza di qualità ai bordi (al centro è sempre nitidissimo) mentre su Sony col Canon 16-35 F4 IS che otticamente si mangia a colazione il 17-40 dovevo chiudere a f16 per avere bordi accettabili e certamente non per colpa dell'obiettivo.
Ho notato che Sony (avevo una A7r) non digerisce molto bene i grandangoli al di sotto di 24-30mm...parlo per esperienza diretta.
Stanno uscendo grandangoli "ottimizzati" per Sony anche di altre marche e secondo me è il caso di aspettare per capire come rendono
