Quindi Maori se negli exif leggo 800 ISO in realtà la foto è stata scattata a 200? Interessante, io pensavo che gli ISO riportati sugli exif, o segnalati dai raw converter, fossero effettivi, e quindi ho smesso di usare DR200 e DR400.

Se imposti DR400% si però sono 200 iso sottoesposti di 2 stop e recuperati in post. Alla fine del giro la qualità è simile a quella degli 800 iso reali. Non guadagni nulla, se non la (quasi) certezza di non bruciare nulla.
Di fatto non è nemmeno sbagliato indicare 800iso negli exif... che si amplifichi il segnale base (200iso) via hardware o via software con i sensori moderni cambia poco (ho dei dubbi sulle ombre ma è questione di lana caprina).

Può essere utile, non dico che non serva. Secondo me è solo importante capire come funziona e poi decidere se serve o no. Come dicevo prima il termine aumento di gamma dinamica mi sembra improprio...
