Buonasera ragazzi ho una D5200 e vorrei acquistare un 35mm DX F1.8 come prima focale fissa...il problema è che su internet ho letto che questo obiettivo, pur essendo un DX, diverrebbe un 50mm; ma com'è possibile? Se è un DX non dovrebbe rimanere così com'è?

La lunghezza focale è sempre riferita al Full Frame, su tutte le lenti. Quel 35mm a causa del fattore crop delle aps-c di 1,5x diventa un equivalente di 52,5mm.

La lunghezza focale è una dimensione fisica dell'obiettivo e non cambia. Un 35mm è sempre 35mm che sia staccato da una macchina, montato su una Fx o su una DX.
Posto che la lunghezza focale è quindi fissa, quello che varia in dipendenza dal formato del sensore è l'angolo di campo ripreso.
David, se hai sempre scattato in DX e per le tue esigenze ti serve un 35mm, compera sereno un 35mm.

In effetti rimane così com'è, come del resto tutti gli obiettivi (DX, FX o altro). Quello che cambia a seconda della grandezza del sensore è l'angolo di ripresa che ottieni con una certa focale, dato che a questa corrisponde un certo ingrandimento dell'immagine. Per esempio, con un 35mm sulla tua D5200 hai lo stesso angolo di ripresa che avresti con un 50mm circa su una macchina con sensore FX (nota che, nel caso non si abbia familiarità con il formato FX, questa informazione è in pratica abbastanza inutile).

Grazie! E cosa significa che è un obiettivo di tipo G? La sua nomenclatura è 35mm DX F1.8 G.

Significa che è privo della ghiera dei diaframmi e quindi è possibile regolare l'apertura solo dal corpo macchina.
