Ho acquistato da poco questo obiettivo. Mi sembra ottimo, ma ho due perplessità.
Primo: la ghiera dello zoom è molto dura. Normale che sia così? C'è modo di allentare la frizione?
Secondo: al momento dell'acquisto ci ho accoppiato un 1.4x Teleplus Pro 300 della Kenko. Sembrava andare benissimo. Successivamente, in condizioni di luce meno favorevoli, non ha funzionato la MAF. Anzi si è addirittura oscurata l'immagine nel mirino. Lo stesso rivenditore non ha saputo dirmi se l'obiettivo Sigma era in grado di accettare un moltiplicatore Kenko. C'è chi dice di sì, c'è invece chi dice che accetta SOLO i moltiplicatori dedicati della Sigma. Quale è la verità?

Io ho un tc nikon 1.4 e quando lo uso con poca luce e supero f8 non mi va più l'AF, dunque credo sia normale.

Ciao Stefano, sarei anche io interessato all'acquisto del sigmone. Per Caso avresti voglia di fare un paio di scatti alla buona ovviamente, con e senza Tc, perché vorrei ancora valutare un attimo la qualità delle lenti..
Invece per la perdita della MAF, ritieni che la luce doveva essere sufficiente, l'hai provato subito dopo senza tc per caso?

La ghiera per il comando dello zoom è abbastanza dura perchè è molto rapida.
Io comando la zommata semplicemento tirando avanti o indietro la parte che si allunga come si trattasse di un comando a pompa, e ciò risulta molto agevole.
Per l'uso con il molti 1,4x uso un tc canon 1,4x II e su serie 1 di canon conserva la messa a fuoco sul solo centrale, che riesce a mettere a fuoco fino ad f8,0 in automatico. La luminosità risultante mi da f9,0 sui dati exif.
Non ho mai notato oscuramenti nel mirino
