Nikkor af-s DX ED 55-200 mm autofocus non funziona

Salve a tutti ho uno zoom Nikkor AF-S DX ED 55-200 mm. montato su una Nikon D40 all'improvviso l'autofocus quando uso questa ottica non funziona più.
Impostando lo zoom in manuale funziona tutto bene, lo stesso zoom su altri corpi macchina fa lo stesso. Altri zoom o obiettivi con autofocus nella mia macchina funzionano regolarmente. Desumo quindi che il problema è nello zoom.
Qualcuno sa dirmi quale può essere il problema e se è riparabile?

Prova a dare una pulita ai contatti elettrici sulla baionetta dell'obiettivo. Se non dovesse risolversi e dovesse trattarsi di un problema al motore autofocus ti conviene direttamente cambiare obbiettivo dato il costo.

si la pulizia l'ho già fatta, quindi pensi sia il motore interno dell'obiettivo vero?

Sinceramente mi viene da pensarlo a questo punto.. Aspetta se qualcuno magari ha avuto la stessa esperienza ed ha risolto in qualche maniera particolare, ma a questo punto penso che sia defunto :\ Al massimo se hai la possibilità prova l'obiettivo su un'altra macchina, giusto per toglierti il pensiero Triste

Probabilmente all'interno c'è un cavo flat che si è danneggiato

a me su canon è costato 200€ di sostituzione motore

Ho già provato l'ottica non funzionante in autofocus su una altra macchina e il risultato è uguale funziona solo in manuale e sul corpo macchina dove abitualmente usavo lo zoom, altre ottiche autofocus vanno alla perfezione.

Che voi sappiate, il cavo flat che potrebbe essere essere danneggiato è difficile da raggiungere?
