Salve a tutti,
mi è stato regalato un vecchio flash Canon, modello EX 420.

Questo flash non possiede la modalità manuale e scatta solo in TTL.

Volevo acquistare dei trigger ma ho sentito che questi trasmettono al flash solo l'impulso di scattare ma non le informazioni che servono per lo scatto automatico.
infatti, leggevo, che di solito il flash sul trigger si usa in manuale.

Ora mi chiedo: cosa succede se attacco il mio vecchio 420 ad un trigger???
La potenza dello scatto è deltutto casuale? O non scatta proprio?

Ringrazio chi sarà in grado di chiarirmi un po le idee

Non ho provato specificamente i 420 ma se sono E-TTL puoi usare una coppia di trigger TTL, come i 622C di YongNuo.

Oppure comprare un ricevitore compatibile con il sistema Canon RT per eventualmente integrare futuri flash nello standard Canon.

Ne fa uno la YongNuo 600 RX E3 di YongNuo, da usare insieme ad un ST-E3 RT. Un altro della Phottix è di prossima commercializzazione. Questi possono essere attivati anche da un 600 RT (Canon o YN) che fa da master.

Grazie Paolo credo che andrò su yongnuo magari comprando un flash migliore e una bella coppia di trigger
