Comunque, sul tema dell'utilità dell'arte, la miglior definizione l'ha data il buon Bollito Oliva:

Chi mi conosce sa che non amo falsare foto con livelli o armeniccoli vari. Un paio di volte ho applicato filtri HDR ma senza soddisfazione.
Ma dire che le foto analogiche sono vere, è falso. Quanti come me, che sviluppavano e stampavano in camera oscura, si ricordano quante manipolazioni si facevano ?

Proprio ieri sono riuscito a trovare il suo libro reportage sui manicomi della fine degli anni '60. Crudo e tristissimo. Credo rispecchi perfettamente le sue parole nel filmato: "a me interessa la foto di documentazione".

secondo me non deve essere stato facile girovagare in quegli istituti in quel periodo, sapendo di dover cogliere ma nello stesso tempo senza esagerare ...

molto più "facile" scattare alle navi da crociera a Venezia
