Detto questo 8gb di ram sono INSUFFICIENTI su qualunque piattaforma, o meglio lo sono se si ha la necessità di workflow combinati, panoramiche, se lavori spesso con tiff, ecc..

L'aspetto più importante rimane sempre la combinazione CPU-GPU. L'Imac con i5 è comunque ampiamente sufficiente per assolvere all'elaborazione.

aumenta la RAM, inserisci l'SSD come disco di sistema e mantieni il disco da 1Tb come spazio da lavoro...

Perdonami Bigisbetter ma con che tempi scattavi? Scusa ma mi sembra molto strano, sei il primo che sento avere questi grossi problemi di micromosso... ok i 36 mp ma scattando con tempi "normali" io non ho mai avuto problemi su nessuna macchina compresa Nikon D800E e Hasselblad H3D2...

Ovviamente dipende dalle foto. Ma diciamo che ho trovato micromosso anche con tempi due o tre volte superiori al cosidetto "tempo di sicurezza". La D800E direi che c'entra poco, io parlavo della A7R, otturatore meccanico che spara una fucilata su un corpo molto leggero.

In effetti sulla A7r l'otturatore picchia duro e il corpo non ha grande inerzia per smorzare le vibrazioni.
Con il 55 1,8 di solito uso tempi di sicurezza circa 1/80 e non ho problemi; stranamente sembra che il tempo 1/60 sia proprio il peggiore, probabilmente entra in risonanza qualcosa.

Ok, grazie per l'informazione...anche perchè sto seriamente pensando di prendere una 7r ed usarla con ottiche L canon... credo comunque che con una lente più pesante il "problema" venga meno... il corpo è parecchio leggero ma attaccandoci un 70-200 credo lo si riesca ad usare bene...
