sigma 120 300 os problema stabilizzatore

SALVE A TUTTI.
volevo chiedere se qualcuno ha mai avuto problemi con lo stabilizzatore del SIGMA 120 300 OS.
Da qualche settimana lo stabilizzatore andava e non andava con la nikon d7200, ho provato a cambiare corpo e utilizzare una nikon d300 ma nulla, sempre gli stessi problemi, sia liscio che moltiplicato.cosi l'ho mandato in assistenza SIGMA ( purtroppo fuori garanzia). Oggi mi hanno contattato dicendomi che bisogna sostituire tutto il gruppo dello stabilizzatore,taratura, pulizia....ecc in poche parole il preventivo è di 690 euro!
L' obiettivo è sempre stato usato con molta cura, mai preso botte, ne acqua, in pratica è come nuovo.
ora mi viene un dubbio, e se magari era una cavolata tipo un contatto o roba del genere e vogliono approfittarsene? mi giunge strano che se come dicono loro lo stabilizzatore è guasto vada e non vada....cioè se è guasto non dovrebbe andare e basta o sbaglio?

I guasti elettronici hanno 1000 sfaccettature, uno stabilizzatore mal funzionante può fare benissimo il difetto descritto.

Se non ti fidi, ritira l'obbiettivo e chiedi un preventivo ad un altro centro assistenza.

E' tranquillamente possibile che vada e non vada, per un po', prima di rompersi del tutto.
A me è capitato con il Canon 28-300: morale, 380 Euro per la sostituzione.
