Domanda banale per tutti voi immagino...
Comprerò una reflex Nikon in kit con l'obiettivo "AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR"

Leggendo f/3.5-5.6G vuol dire che potrò impostare la reflex con apertura del diaframma tra 3.5 e 5.6 ? Ne meno ne più di questi valori?

No. Vuol dire che alla lunghezza focale minima l'apertura massima è 3.5 ed alla focale massima l'apertura massima è 5.6. L'apertura minima resta uguale.

Solo una precisazione che mi pare di ricordare, anche l'apertura minima varia, chiudendosi maggiormente quando e' alla massima focale

di piu si, puoi impostarli; di meno purtroppo no, ci vogliono ottiche piu "luminose" esempio con diaframma f/2.8.
Alla focale minima puoi impostare f/3,5 e maggiori (es. 4, 5.6, 7.1, 8, 11, 16, 22 etc...), alla massima potrai impostare minimo f5.6 e valori maggiori di diaframma (quindi stai chiudendo il diaframma, con ovvie cadute di luminosità da compensare con aumento dei tempi e/o degli ISO)
