Ciao a tutti,

Ho in previsione di acquistare un tele nuovo per la mia canon 550, premetto che lo utlizzerò per lo più per foto sportive, quale mi consigliate tra Canon EF 100-400mm L IS USM e Canon EF 70-200mm F/4 L IS USM ??

Fatica darti una risposta.. di che foto sportive si tratta? Palazzetto o autodromo (tradotto: sei vicino o lontano?)? Tribuna o no? Sono obiettivi totalmente diversi con focali diverse. Uno arriva a 200, l'altro a 400 (focale doppia!). Essendo ottimi entrambi, secondo me è meglio prima capire la focale corretta. ;-)

Ciao, io avevo il 70-200 e poi ho preso il 70-300L e dopo averli testati per un mese ho tenuto il 70-300L perché surclassava il 70-200 in tutte le situazioni. Siccome il 70-300L come IQ è paragonabile al 100-400 II io andrei con quest'ultimo. Se lavori al chiuso valuterei il 70-200 2.8 e se non sei sicuro che ti servano i mm da 300 a 400 valuterei il 70-300L, più leggero ed economico ma con la stessa qualità.

Se è il tuo unico obiettivo vai di 100-400.

Quando ho fotografato barche classe coppa america avevo due corpi uno con 70-200 e l'altro col 300 + 1.4.

Col solo 70-200 rischi di essere corto.

Per quel l'utilizzo andrei di 100-400. La versione 2 é decisamente più nitida della prima, a detta di chi li ha avuti entrambi.

100-400II senza dubbio, tra l'altro sino a 300 è f/5, quindi rispetto al 70-200/4 perdi circa 2/3 di stop (e meno alla focale minima).
Nitidezza eccellente, a livello (ma per me superiore a TA) al 70-200/2.8 ISII. Af insuperabile, pressoché infallibile.
