Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM - tropicalizzato o no?

Salve,ho da poco preso un tamron 70-200 2.8 stabilizzato ma sapendo che non è tropicalizzato,stavo pensando più in là di prendere il Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM per appunto portarlo durante le uscite "wild" .....
leggo però dalle caratteristiche di questa pagina (come da altre) www.juzaphoto.com/recensione.php?l=it&t=canon_70-200_f4 che quest'obiettivo non è tropicalizzato...
alcuni commenti tra i "pro" di quest'obiettivo,citano la tropicalizzazione...

ma allora io mi chiedo... è tropicalizzato o no?

Si, essendo un'ottica L, il bianchino IN TEORIA è tropicalizzato

Quello che avevo io era una grandissima lente ma di certo NON era tropicalizzato.

mi sembra che sia uno, se non l'unico, tra tutti i serie L non tropicalizzato...

Da quello che ricordo l'is è tropicalizzato ed il normale no.
Detto questo è pur sempre una lente professionale, anche il 2.8L non stabilizzato non è tropicalizzato eppure è usato da una vita da migliaia di professionisti in tutte le condizioni possibili di scatto... vai tranquillo!

Sembra anche a me. Comunque basta guardare se sull innesto ha una guarnizione. Se si è tropicalizzato

Le versioni IS sono tropicalizzate. Quelle lisce no. Questo vale per entrambe le versioni, sia f4 sia f2.8
