Io sconsiglierei invece il 24-105 come ottica tutto fare se non è abbinato ad un grandangolo. 24mm su aps-c sono lunghi secondo me. Quoto chi propone i vari 17-55, 15-85, 18-135. Altrimenti una valida proposta è tenerti il 18-55 (che penso tu abbia l'IS II, lente economica ma valida) ed affiancarci un tamron 70-300 Di VC USD. L'ho pagato circa 300 euro nuovo e non posso che parlartene bene

Personalmente non ho mai sentito le fregole per gli sfondi sfocati, anzi (semmai il mio problema è sempre stato proprio di avere tutto a fuoco dal primo piano all'infinito).
Se come me non hai quest'esigenza ti consiglio il 15-85, ottimo compromesso qualità\prezzo, ottimo stabilizzatore e messa a fuoco rapida.
Per le occasioni (nel mio caso rare) in cui disporre di un obbiettivo particolarmente luminoso dovesse fare la differenza ti consiglio un economicissimo 50 f/1.8, che per 80~90€ fa il suo dovere. ;-)
